A deep partial eclipse took the Moon only 96.3% of the way. We shipped the rest. While it slid behind the earth’s shadow, dark mode went live across the TRM platform. Every screen, every graph, every table.

Why we built it
Built for the 3:00am trace
Financial crime doesn’t keep business hours. Investigators run attribution on a watch rotation, and compliance analysts clear alert queues against filing deadlines. Defense and intelligence analysts work in rooms that are dim on purpose.
A bright interface is fine for twenty minutes. It’s a different thing across a ten-hour shift spent reading transaction graphs, where every node, edge and label competes for the same attention.
Dark Mode will not make you a better investigator, but it will make you look cooler while you investigate. And it’s easier on the eyes.
The Moon turned dark red because Earth’s atmosphere bends what little light gets through.
Ours is a simpler mechanism. You pick it in a menu.
Two ways
How to switch
The sun and moon in the navbar
There’s a sun and moon icon in the top navigation bar. Click it to flip between light and dark from wherever you are, without opening settings or reloading. Click it again to flip back.
Or set it once in your profile
Step one
Open your profile menu in the top right of the TRM platform.
Step two
Select Appearance.
Step three
Choose Dark. It applies immediately, and it follows your account to every device you sign in from.
No admin toggle, no rollout window, no waiting on orbital geometry.
From here on
The moon got its disc back. Dark mode isn’t going anywhere.
The eclipse lasted a little over three hours. Your setting stays where you put it.
