Why this exists
Criminals play multiplayer — across borders, platforms, and syndicates — now at AI scale. The people who fight it still mostly play single: one agency, one authority, one view of a case.
These awards are for the teams who embraced the power of working together.
The Awards
Each honors a single collaboration of two or more organizations that led to an impactful disruption.
The three awards are not ranked, and the products a participant uses are not considered. Every partner organization in a winning collaboration receives the same engraved piece — because nobody wins alone. TRM reviews every nomination against the criteria for each award.

Put a coalition forward
Anyone can nominate — including the people who did the work. Tell us who worked with whom, what each of them did, and what happened. Links help.
Leave out anything sensitive, and anything that could identify a victim.
Nominations aren't anonymous. We may follow up with you for more detail or to verify the story, and the team you nominate will be told who put them forward.

Seventy-seven years ago, twelve nations gathered in this hall to sign the North Atlantic Treaty — because no one of them could meet the threat alone. The Disruption Awards honor that exact idea, now against crime.
Bring us a team, not a name. Two or more organizations — public and private — who did something together that none of them could have done alone. We don't honor individuals or single institutions, because the whole point is public–private disruption.
TRM. Our team reviews every nomination against the criteria on this page — the scale of the public–private partnership, the mission outcomes, and the bar specific to each award. We tell finalists in early October; the room finds out the winners on the night.
No — whether an organization uses TRM or any other company's products has no bearing on the evaluation. Nominees are evaluated on the scale of the public–private partnership, the mission outcomes, and the criteria unique to each award.
Winners will receive a commemorative award honoring their partnership and be recognized at TRM User Conference 2026. There is no cash prize or other item of material value.
For government employees, the award is intended to comply with applicable ethics and gift rules. Winners should follow their agency's policies and consult their ethics office if required.
