BNB Beacon Chain is the original BNB chain, launched in 2019 as Binance Chain on Tendermint with the BEP-2 token standard and a native order-book DEX. It did not support general smart contracts and was fully shut down in December 2024.

- The chain was decommissioned in the BNB Chain Fusion (Dec 2024); it no longer processes transactions and assets migrated to BSC, so new tracing should focus on BSC.
