Qtum (QTUM)
Blockchain intelligence for Qtum
Screen Qtum addresses for ownership risk with TRM — wallet screening for sanctioned and attributed high-risk addresses through the TRM Wallet Screening API.
Understanding Qtum
What to know about Qtum
Qtum is a Layer 1 that combines Bitcoin's UTXO model with an Ethereum Virtual Machine, secured by proof of stake. Its Account Abstraction Layer lets EVM smart contracts run on top of a UTXO ledger.
| Type | Layer 1 |
| model | UTXO |
| Ecosystem | Bitcoin-family + EVM |
| Address | base58 (Q…) + bech32 (qc1…) |
| Token standards | QRC-20; QRC-721/1155 |
| Smart contracts | Yes (EVM) |
- Balances are the sum of unspent outputs, so tracing follows inputs and outputs and coin selection rather than a running account balance.
- Each account also maps to a 20-byte hex EVM address, so one entity can surface under both a Q… address and its hex form; QRC-20 moves are contract executions, not native UTXO transfers.
What you can do
Qtum wallet screening coverage
Screen Qtum wallets for ownership risk
Score Qtum addresses against sanctioned and attributed high-risk actors at onboarding and transaction time.
Attribute known addresses
Where a Qtum address is directly attributed, resolve the actor behind it.

FAQs
Common questions about Qtum coverage
Does TRM support Qtum?
Yes. TRM supports Qtum for wallet screening — screen Qtum addresses for ownership risk, such as sanctions and attributed illicit actors, through the TRM Wallet Screening API.
Where can I confirm Qtum coverage?
