This Month’s Highlights

The two releases you should know about

Product

Behavioral Monitoring detects suspicious activity across customer transactions

Behavioral Monitoring introduces new rule types in TRM Transaction Monitoring to enable compliance teams to detect suspicious patterns across transactions. Create rules to detect aggregate transfers to a specific risk category over a defined period — for example, an alert when a customer sends more than $5,000 to a gambling service in a 24-hour period.

Blockchain Intelligence

Expanded attribution coverage of the Canton Network

TRM attributed more than one-third of the publicly accessible part of the Canton Network — a privacy-enabled chain built for institutional finance that previously had little third-party attribution. TRM’s integration with Canton is designed to operate within this privacy-first architecture while still delivering actionable compliance insights.

Product Releases

What shipped across the platform

TRM’s customers can do more by enabling agents to work transaction monitoring alerts and see more suspicious behavior with new rules for aggregate activity monitoring.

TRM MCP

Blockchain intelligence built for your agents

Connect your AI agents to TRM so they work the full transaction monitoring alert lifecycle in Claude, Cursor, or any custom agent

Behavioral Monitoring

Catch risk as behavior shifts

Surfacing risk-relevant changes in on-chain behavior that point-in-time screening alone would miss

Seed Analysis

More chains from a seed phrase

Seed Analysis now extends recovery from seed phrases and private keys to four additional blockchains

Blockchain Intelligence Releases

New attribution, deeper coverage, new frontiers

TRM customers keep pace with fast-moving enforcement — screening and tracing newly designated entities as sanctions land, while coverage reaches new chains and new threat categories.

Counter Narcotics

Largest single month on the fentanyl economy

Roughly $138M in newly attributed fentanyl-linked activity, spanning precursor suppliers through downstream money-laundering networks

Facilitation & Money Laundering

Deeper coverage of the off-ramps that launder proceeds

1,500+ new high-risk exchanges, new OTC-desk attribution feeding the A7 network, and coverage of the Canton network

+ New Attribution
$400M
New attribution of an OTC desk feeding the A7 network
TRM attributed a Bahrain-based over-the-counter desk and traced roughly $400M from it into A7, the Russia-linked sanctions-evasion network — about a third of the desk’s outbound volume.
New Coverage
>1/3
Attribution coverage of the Canton network
TRM attributed more than one-third of the publicly accessible Canton network, a privacy-enabled chain built for institutional finance that previously had little third-party attribution. Coverage is live in-product.
Sanctions

Keeping pace with UK and US enforcement

Sustained attribution of HTX, plus support for OFAC actions against ISIS crypto-financing and Iran’s domestic exchanges

External Validation
OFAC
Attribution behind OFAC’s ISIS crypto-financing action
TRM attribution supported OFAC’s designation of an ISIS crypto-financing network, including the exchange Bitcoin Xchange, giving customers immediate on-chain visibility into the designated infrastructure. It followed a related law-enforcement conviction earlier in the month.

External Validation
$3.84B
Tracing Iran’s crypto-sanctions network
As OFAC designated Iran’s major domestic crypto exchanges, TRM attributed the designated entities and published analysis tracing $3.84B in flows linking the exchange CoinEx to sanctioned Iranian platforms and IRGC- and Hezbollah-linked entities over several years.

Chain Releases

More networks, more of the trace reconnected

Three new blockchains live at general availability, and custodial cross-chain swap detection expanded to more services

New Chains

TRM enabled support for Cronos, Ault, and Robinhood chain — all with Standard Support:
+ Expanded
Expanded
Custodial cross-chain swap detection expanded to more services
TRM expanded its custodial cross-chain swap detection — which reconnects the deposit and withdrawal sides of swaps that break the trace — to additional high-volume swap services beyond the first shipped in June. More custodial swap activity is now traceable end to end.
Wildlife Trafficking

A new front against wildlife trafficking

TRM joined the United for Wildlife consortium behind Project Pangolin and extended its Beacon Network to wildlife-trafficking proceeds
