October 2025 Product Highlights: Expanding Coverage and Empowering Your Data

Stablecoins now account for 30% of all on-chain transaction volume, totaling over USD 4 trillion  in the first half of 2025 — an 83% increase on the same period in 2024. This surge highlights how fast crypto adoption is accelerating across both emerging and mature markets. Front line teams need more data and smarter, faster ways to harness it to keep pace with digital asset innovation and adoption.

October’s product releases expand TRM’s blockchain coverage and enable users to bring their own data into TRM, enriching it with our intelligence to unlock deeper context, sharper signals, and faster decision-making.

Before we get into what’s new, we’re excited to share that we’re only two weeks from Block by TRM. This is our first-ever user conference bringing leaders from compliance, law enforcement, national security, and regulatory communities together for a full day of learning, upskilling, and connection-building. More on that below with a special video from Taylor Windemuth, TRM’s Head of Academy.

Expanding blockchain coverage with HyperCore

TRM’s industry-leading blockchain coverage continues with the addition of HyperCore — making TRM the only provider with full coverage of Hyperliquid across HyperEVM and HyperCore. HyperCore and HyperEVM are two separate chains powering Hyperliquid’s architecture:

  • HyperCore is Hyperliquid’s perpetual futures platform where high-speed trading takes place at up to 200,000 orders per second
  • HyperEVM is Hyperliquid’s EVM-compatible general-purpose layer-1 (L1) blockchain

Setting a new standard for blockchain support

TRM now supports more than 50 blockchains for tracing and alert triage — and covers activity across 105 blockchains and counting. As the digital asset ecosystem rapidly evolves, compliance teams, investigators, and analysts need fast and actionable coverage of emerging blockchains to detect and trace illicit activity.

We can rapidly add new blockchain coverage because we’ve standardized our support across two tiers: Standard and Enhanced. This ensures every chain we launch supports customer outcomes and includes consistent functionality, so you don’t have to guess what’s supported from chain to chain.

Standard support includes:

  • Full capabilities in TRM Wallet Screening and TRM Transaction Monitoring
  • Core entity and address-level insights in TRM Forensics
  • Automatic cross-chain tracing
  • Ownership and counterparty exposure for all risk categories
  • Indirect exposure for severe and high-risk categories
  • Real-time transaction data freshness

Enhanced support includes everything in Standard — plus advanced entity and address analytics in Forensics, and additional investigative capabilities.

Standard support provides all the insights and functionality that compliance teams, regulators, investigators, and analysts need to assess and trace risky transactions. Enhanced support adds deeper visibility into transaction behaviors to enable investigators to find exposure to crypto on- and off-ramps.

By standardizing blockchain support, TRM can comprehensively cover new chains, fast — ensuring users have the insights and functionality they need to keep pace with illicit actors as  the crypto ecosystem grows.

Accelerate seizure cases with likely wallets and custom entities

Seed Analysis enables rapid, high-confidence identification of associated wallets and balances — empowering agents, investigators, and officers to seize crypto. This month, we reduced time to insight with two innovations:

  • Identify likely wallet provider: Quickly identify the most probable wallets linked to derived addresses and which wallet tools can be used to interact with or move related funds
  • Merge new addresses with existing custom entities: Add newly discovered addresses from seed analyses to existing custom entities with a single click — and analyze in TRM Forensics

Seed Analysis remains the only solution that scans billions of addresses across 33+ blockchains to surface matches — increasing the likelihood of recovery from limited artifacts.

New TRM Academy courses

We’ve launched a new learning path in TRM Academy designed specifically for financial institutions ready to take their compliance programs to the next level. You’ll learn how to harness blockchain intelligence to strengthen every pillar of financial crime compliance — from onboarding to investigations.

Choose from three tracks tailored to your team’s focus: KYC, transaction monitoring and investigations, and sanctions compliance. Build the knowledge and confidence to mitigate digital asset risk with best practices grounded in real-world experience.

FAQs

1. What new blockchains does TRM now support?

In October 2025, TRM added support for HyperCore, becoming the only provider to fully cover Hyperliquid across HyperCore and HyperEVM. This addition builds on our industry-leading blockchain coverage for 100+ blockchains, including 50+ chains supported for tracing and alert triage, and 200 million+ assets. TRM’s blockchain coverage enables customers to detect and investigate risk across the crypto ecosystem.

2. How has TRM improved blockchain support?

Blockchain support varies across blockchain intelligence providers, and the details of what capabilities are supported can vary across chains.

TRM has standardized coverage for new blockchains across Wallet Screening, Transaction Monitoring, and Forensics. Each new chain also includes automatic cross-chain swap tracing, ownership and counterparty exposure for all risk categories, and indirect exposure for severe and high-risk categories. This standardized approach ensures comprehensive coverage and faster onboarding, giving users immediate visibility into risk and the tools to trace transactions with confidence.

3. What improvements were made to Seed Analysis?

Seed Analysis now identifies the likely wallet software or provider that could have been used to reproduce and access each derived address. This feature helps investigators quickly identify the most probable wallets linked to discovered addresses, providing deeper insight into how funds may have been created, accessed, or moved.

4. What improvements were made to custom entities?

Custom entities are now more deeply integrated with Seed Analysis, enabling users to easily add newly discovered addresses to existing entities — saving time and reducing human errors in cases.
