San Francisco - TRM Labs, the leading provider of crypto anti-money laundering (AML) and investigation software, is pleased to announce that Laura Yungmeyer joined the TRM team in May 2021, bringing her expertise in marketing, communications, and brand development to the next-generation product in blockchain intelligence.

Ms. Yungmeyer brings a wealth of experience in the risk and compliance space. Prior to joining TRM, she was global marketing director for Dow Jones’ Risk & Compliance division, a provider of financial crime compliance and risk management solutions. While at Dow Jones, Ms. Yungmeyer led customer acquisition and expansion activities to support 21 consecutive quarters of double-digit revenue growth. She has extensive experience bringing complex product suites to market, having worked on a number of Dow Jones’ news-derived data services and enterprise SaaS solutions prior to joining the Risk & Compliance business.

"I could not be more excited to join TRM Labs as it works to build a safer financial system for billions of people," said Ms. Yungmeyer. "TRM has developed the next-generation blockchain intelligence product. I look forward to working closely with every aspect of the business as we build a world-class brand for a world-class product."

"Laura is a trailblazer," said TRM CEO Esteban Castaño. "She brings unique experience building global brands in the risk and compliance industry; most importantly, she shares our values on adaptability and ownership to help us pioneer new risk management solutions for the Internet of Money. I am thrilled to welcome Laura to TRM."

Ms. Yungmeyer joins the TRM team as cryptocurrency adoption accelerates worldwide, including experiencing significant growth among traditional institutional investors. A 2019 poll by the Bank for International Settlements (BIS) found that nearly 80% of central banks are working on central bank digital currency (CBDC) research. In September 2020, stablecoins and digital dollars reached 200 billion in monthly on-chain USD volume, nearly 700% more than the same period the year prior.
